Bismillah Hir Rahman Nir Raheem
Allahumma Salle 'Ala Syedina Muhammadin Wa 'Ala Aalihi Syedina Muhammadin Wa Baraik Wa Sallim

Assalamu Alaikkum Va Rahmathullahi Va Barakathahu,

Akhiri Cha-Shumba, the Last Wednesday of Safar month (2nd month in Islamic Calendar)

Akhiri Cha-Shumba, the last wednesday of Safar month (2nd month in Islamic Calendar). Safar is the month when Huzoor e Kareem Sal-lal-lahu Alaihi Va Sallam fell ill in the month of Safar  and Wisaal-e-mubarak took in the next month of Rabi ul awal's month. It is said by great Qutbs of their times that the Balay / Museebath / Mushkhils (Tribulations/Calamities) will come down to Dhuniya in innumerable numbers for an year.

Some of those greatest Qutbs who foresaw that during their times are,

1) Hazrath Syedina Shah Muhammad Bahauddin Naqshabandhi (Qaddas ALLAHU Sirrah-ul-Azeez), the holy founder of the Silsila-e-Naqshabandhiyya, one of the most influential Sufi orders.

2) Sultan-ul-Hind, Hazrath Syedina Khwaja Moinuddeen Chisti (Qaddas ALLAHU Sirrah-ul-Azeez) (The one who witnessed by their naked eyes while Tribulations/Calamities were sent down to Dhuniya on this particular day a lot.

3) Qutb-e-Tamilnadu, Hazrath Syedina Nagoor Badshah urf Qadir Vali (Qaddas ALLAHU Sirrah-ul-Azeez).

4) The knowledge home of Irfaniyyath, Syedina Hazrath Al-Alim-ul Aroos, Mappillai Lebbai Alim (Qaddas ALLAHU Sirrah-ul-Azeez).

5) Sheikh-ul-Akbar, Syedina Hazrat Muhiyiddeen Ibn Arabi (Qaddas ALLAHU Sirrah-ul-Azeez).

To be protected and safeguarded from those Balay / Museebath / Mushkhils (Tribulations/Calamities) and observe this day on 2nd Feb 2011, we need to perform two Raka'ath Nafil namaz and pray to ALLAH by taking Waseela of Huzoor-e-Kareem Sal-lal-lahu Alaihi Va Sallam.

The two Raka’ah Nafil Namaz need to be performed after 50/60 min. from the sunrise on this day. It's must to keep niyyath for this day and take oil bath prior to performing the namaz. In each Raka'th, please recite the following Surahs after reciting Surath-ul-Fatiha.

17 times Surah, Al-Kawthar ( Inna ‘a’ thaina kal kauthar, fasal lily Rabbi ka wanhar, inna shaa ni aqa huwal abthar)
Once Surah, Al Falaq (Qul-A'udhu-bi-Rabbil Falaq)
Once Suran, Al-Naz (Qul-A'udhu-bi-Rabbin Naz)
5 times Surah Al-Ikhlas ( QulhuvAllah Ahad)
Please follow the sequence of Surahs as mentioned above and find attached the Dhua to be read after the Two Raka’ath Nafil Namaz.

After the namaz/dhua, please remember Hazrath Syedina Shah Muhammad Bahauddin Naqshabandhi (Qaddas ALLAHU Tha'ala Sirrah-ul-Azeez), since he is the one who implemented Akhir Chashumba for our Ummatis and seek Dhuas from them and convey salathul salams to them.

Prior to closing with Salams to Huzoor-e-Kareem, Sal-lal-lahu Alaihi Va Sallam, please read three times

“Nashku Ilaika Bala Addeeni Vad Dhuniya, Fi Laisa laha Min Dhoonillahi Kashifa,
Bi Hurmathi Sheik Baha Uddeeni Naqshaband”.

May ALLAH protect us from those Balai / Museebath for the sake of Huzoor e Kareem Sal-lal-lahu Alaihi Va Sallam, Ameen.

It is believed that Nabi e Kareem ( Sal-lal-lahu Alaihi Wa Sallam ) got well from the bed after illness and took bath on Last Wednesday of Safar and went outside walking on the green grassy land and also gave Sadaqah.  So many muslims considered this Last Wednesday as Akhiri Chashumba and follow this Sunnah even today.

Unfortunately even many sunni ulmas are also objecting this sunnah because there is no hadith found.

Not only in my city but even in Ajmer Sharif millions and billions  considered Akhiri Chashuma as sacred

Only the answer from our  elders is particularly males take bath considering this day as day when Nabi e kareem Sal-lal-lahu alaihi wa sallam got up from the bed after long illness and took bath and gave sadaqah.

What is the wrong in following this. Giving Sadaqah and taking Ghusl and also remembering nabi e kareem Sal-lal-lahu alaihi wa sallam .

This post is a eye opener to many people who do not know about Akhiri Charshumba

Yes  myself and family also not only believe but also follow this sunnah.

Akhri Char Shamba is the last Wednesday in the month of Safar. On this day Our beloved Prophet Mohammed Sal-lal-lahoo alayhi wa sallam (PBUH) found himself well enough to walk around for the first time, after a severe illness.

Kindly note : today 18th January 2012 is the day of Akhiri Charshuma

I have seen many old elderly people on this day give lot of sadaqa to the poor in the rememberance of beloved prophet Sal-lal-lahu alaihi wa sallam.

Apart from taking ghusl, giving sadaqa, walking on green grass on this day many people  do fateha in the bargah of Nabi e Kareem sal-lal-lahu alaihi wa sallam by preparing sweets and special food on this day.

Subhaan Allah
